End of Guilt

All my life, I have been made to feel like there was something inherently wrong or evil with me. I was taught, due to my fundamentalist Christian upbringing, that I was incomplete and needed something to complete me. That my true nature was evil and needed to be changed. That I could never measure up to some standard to be worthy of love. I was taught that I should loathe myself. Actually, it was a sign of spirituality to loathe oneself. I still struggle with this mindset to this day.

It wasn’t until recently that that mindset has been staring to change. Switching from a mindset of being fundamentally evil and incomplete, to the realization that I have everything I need within myself. My body and soul are intertwined with the universe. I am always growing and evolving, but I am also complete within myself. I do not need anything external to get there.

The answers you seek are inside of yourself, you are connected to everyone and everything. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you can start tapping into this power. Once you start looking inward, you can uncover those hidden truths that were always right beneath the surface. There is no need to demonize this knowledge, no reason to fear it. You are whole and complete. The demons, or as a friend of mine likes to refer to them: dragons, are not there for you to slay, but to tame. For you to recognize the dark parts of yourself and change it to your benefit. Removing shame and guilt from the equation is the way you can do this.

My friend, recognize your worth, your inherent value and power. You are already worthy, your faults don’t define you. You are ready and able to step into your fullest version of yourself.
